Most probably you have connected the Module without RS232 level converter. If so immediately switch OFF the Modules and disconnect the cable from PC to avoid further damage to the module. Always use a Level converter to interface 3V TTL signals from the module.

SAH2217 does not show cable open or short

Mostly the f/w loaded does not support the Antenna status detection. Please request the f/w with Antenna detection while ordering
